Website is a collection of many webpages together. A webpage is a document which can be run on the internet typically made in HTML or XHTML. There are many computer languages which can be used while making a website like HTML, JAVA SCRIPT, PHP, ASP.NET, etc.
The World Wide Web was first created in 1989 by CERN physicist Tim Berners-Lee. Website can be static or dynamic.
In simple language, static website is one which is made in HTML and is made by an Individual. It can be made in Notepad and saved as an extension .html or .htm. These pages are firstly made in the client's machine and then finally been uploaded to the server via FTP (File Transfer Protocol). Static Web pages can be made in many web development software's like Adobe Photoshop, Frontpage, etc.
Dynamic Website is the one which is made in the tools like wordpress, blogger. It is not static as it changes with the time. The purpose of a dynamic site is Automation. A dynamic website can operate more effectively. It is time saving also.
